For the second time the communities all over the world will vote their “Regional eSports Player of the Year“. The “eSports Player of the Year“ award is subdivided into six regional awards: America, China, Korea, Western Europe, Eastern Europe and Northern Europe. The public polls will be held on the biggest and most prestigious eSport pages of all six regions. Every eSport page votes only the nominees of its affiliated region. The six winners of the regional polls will be nominated for the worldwide “eSports Player of the Year“ and will be crowned at the eSports Award Ceremony in August. The polls of the Regional eSports Player of the Year are open until Sunday, the 5th of July. • DotA-League - Pick-League XII Kicks Off!

With alot of new changes in this map, there should be alot of interesting games coming out of the seasons matches! Unfortunately DotA-League have decided to ban the 2 new heros Tauren Chieftain and Batrider. Still with the new items the matches will be more than exciting! • The-eXperience - DotA tournament reopened!

Due to insufficient sign ups, however, the-eXperience suspended sign up tickets until further notice. However, the-eXperience has re-announced its DotA tournament, this time with a significantly cheaper entrance fee. The LAN will take place in Roskilde, Denmark on July 28, 2009. A maximum of 16 teams will attend, and tickets will be sold at 350€ per team. The-eXperience's sponsor, Interpool, will accommodate each attending team with 150€, and the-eXperience has also offered housing to any teams looking for a place to sleep. After weeks of signing up and finding suitable gamemasters, the DCE Random Fun Tournament #2 is ready to begin, from this Wednesday at 20:00 CET, the tournament will have officially started! All teams and lineups, game dates etc can be found here. Please before the tournament starts, re read our rules so you understand what we want from you, and know when you are needed to play. We have decided to split the First 4 Games so they are played on a Wednesday. And the Second 4 Games on the Thursday so the gamemasters are able to fit the schedule. *Update* Game times and dates will NOT be changed and players will NOT be swapped. If you have signed up and cannot make the date, tough luck, but the format was clearly outlined. If you have to pull out please inform your Game Administrator as soon as possible - more substitute sign ups are now encouraged! • DCE Random Fun Tournament #2!

The tournament is open for all safelisted DCE players and 80 slots are available for the 4 rounds, in which participants will battle in randomised teams for fame and glory. Full information can be found here. The tournament is scheduled to start on June 24th and finish on July 15th, with one round being played on the Wednesday or Thursday at 8pm CET of each week.
